We know that during the proverbial “dog days of August,” the last thing on your mind is nominating yourself (or another member), for an MLD leadership position. You’re on vacation. You’re watching the Olympics. You’re counting down the days to fall…..
So, with that understanding, and in hopes of getting more candidates for the election, we are extending the deadline for nominations to Sept 1st!
The positions open this year are:
Chair Elect (2013-2015)
Treasurer (2013-2014)
Director-at-Large for 2015 (2013-2015)
MLD Director, Air Force (2013-2014)
MLD Director, DOD (2013-2014)
MLD Director, Corporate (2013-2014)
Serving as an MLD officer is a great opportunity to be more active in your professional organization. If you are interested, please send your name, a short bio, and contact information to the three of us. Elections will be held in the fall of 2012. The deadline to submit your name and a short biography is now 1 September 2012.
