It is with great sadness that I pass on the news of Donna Cromer’s unexpected passing at her home on Friday, Dec 6th.

Donna Cromer was. was a wonderful librarian and colleague. Until her death, she had been a librarian for many years at the UNM Centennial Science and Engineering Library. She was very active in the SLA Rio Grande Chapter and Physics, Astronomy and Math Division of SLA. She served in many capacities within the Rio Grande Chapter including President in 1994 and most recently Secretary from 2010-2011. She was our faithful listserv manager, membership chair and employment chair for many years. Donna was someone you could truly count on to step up and be available whenever you needed assistance. Her presence within our chapter will be sorely missed.
